Description
Are you struggling to attract new staff from diverse communities, including candidates who are young, perhaps with disabilities, or culturally diverse? Have you tried a range of strategies but found that recruitment and retention are still a challenge? Would you like to learn how to make your recruitment and retention processes more inclusive, thereby attracting a larger and more diverse talent pool?
Recruiting from hidden talent pools is an effective way for businesses to meet their skills shortages. Sometimes it's difficult to know what to do or where to start. The Ambitious About Employment Inclusive Recruitment pilot project is open to York and North Yorkshire businesses who wish to improve how they hire and how they retain their talent.
City of York Council, working in partnership with 4front Partners, have designed the Ambitious About Employment project with the ultimate ambition of creating new employment opportunities for York residents and providing businesses with the tools to address their recruitment challenges.
This 90 minute masterclass will provide attendees with the business case and practical approaches to inclusive recruitment. Attendees will gain insights, knowledge, learn from businesses who have done this already, and network with your local business community.
