Kokedama: The Art of Living Moss Balls Workshop

Join us at 4Roots Farm for a peaceful, hands-on workshop exploring the art of kokedama, the Japanese-inspired practice of creating living moss ball plants. 🌿

Often described as “living sculptures,” kokedama are crafted by encapsulating a plant’s root system in a hand-formed soil ball, wrapping it in soft live moss, and securing it with string for a beautifully organic display.

Led by a special guest instructors, Jeff Williams and Chanyapach ( Kay ) Chanmontree of Fol Floral, this immersive class invites guests to slow down, work with their hands, and connect with nature through a creative and meditative process.

Guests will learn the techniques behind building and caring for their kokedama while designing a unique piece that can be displayed in a decorative dish or hung as natural living art.

All materials are provided—just bring your creativity and curiosity!
