Make & Take: Strawberry Pot Painting Workshop

Join us at the 4Roots Farm Campus for a hands-on Make & Take Workshop that brings the beauty of the farm straight to your home — perfect for anyone looking to add a splash of color and a taste of sweetness to the season!

During this interactive class, you'll learn how to paint and personalize your very own terracotta pot, then plant a fresh strawberry plant to make it truly yours. Our team will guide you step-by-step through decorating techniques, color combinations, and planting tips to help your strawberries thrive.

We'll kick things off with a short presentation showing how to paint the pots and how we care for our strawberry plants here on the farm, giving you a peek behind the scenes. Then it's your turn to get creative: each participant will paint one pot, plant their own strawberry plant, and go home with everything they need to watch it grow — perfect for the Florida season!

Each workshop highlights an accessible, eco-friendly activity: from natural dyeing to botanical art and more, using materials sourced right here on the farm. Open to all ages, these sessions invite guests to learn new skills, explore the beauty of natural resources, and leave with a handmade creation to take home. Please Note: Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
