WHAT HAPPENS IN THE ASSEMBLY?
This special World Kindness Day assembly will be a lively, uplifting celebration of kindness, based around the theme ‘One Kind Thing’. Greig will lead the presentation, with questions and opportunities for children to join in along the way. It will include:

  • A celebration of World Kindness Day and why it is marked around the world.
  • Messages from lots of different people sharing the one kind thing they are doing for World Kindness Day.
  • Inspiring examples of how one simple act can make a meaningful difference.
  • A look at how kindness spreads and helps to create happier, more supportive schools and communities.
  • An exciting World Kindness Day challenge, inviting every child to choose and carry out their own one kind thing.
  • The launch of nominations for our national Kindness Awards, including details of how schools can get involved.

RESOURCES NEEDED
A printable activity sheet - we will send you a link to the printable activity sheet by the end of October (children can also just use their own paper if you prefer).
