Over the last 25 years, Château Angelus has established itself in the very top tier of Bordeaux’s Right Bank. Its promotion, in 2012, to stand alongside just three other estates as St-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé (A) was the culmination of a relentless, no-expense-spared drive for quality. And while it may have since controversially withdrawn from the classification, it has not deviated from this focus since, producing ever more plush, polished wines from its newly unveiled, space-age cellar.
