Some say the role of a magician is to create the experience of wonder for their spectators. But is it possible for the magician and the audience to create and enjoy that wonder together?

This January at 69 Atlantic The Rubin will attempt to conjure a tiny window through which the whole world appears more magical. If all goes according to plan, no one will be more amazed than The Rubin himself.

Multi-disciplinary artist, author, inventor, world traveler, generous tipper and passionate lover, The Rubin is the co-creator of Bizarre Brooklyn, a pandemic-era outdoor wonder walk recognized as “Best of Theater” by The New York Times in a year when all theaters were closed.

Not Knowing is a new show full of mystifying feats, astounding stunts and ancient rituals. Through Not Knowing, The Rubin will explore the power of uncertainty—that most mysterious yet undeniable dimension of the fabric of reality itself… Or is it?
