A Klezmer Keilidh Spectacular in Sheffield

 The first weekend of May is almost a mini- klezmer festival here in Sheffield.

On Saturday 2^nd May we have a very special Klezmer Keilidh. 7 Hills Kapelye are delighted to have Avia Moore with us to lead Klezmer dancing. She is over from Canada, and is one of the top names in the business. She recently led the dancing at the annual Kleznorth festival in Derbyshire, and is the Artistic Director of the huge KlezCanada. There will also be a set of Yiddish Songs from 7 Hills Kapelye. And if you like playing Klezmer, bring your instruments, for we will end with a Klezmer Jam Session.

And on Sunday 3^rd May, from 2 to 5,  is a Yiddish Song Workshop with Phil Tomlinson. These are always very enjoyable occasions, meeting and singing together, and learning some wonderful songs. The workshop is FREE. Tickets are required, from https://buytickets.at/philtomlinsonevents/2085434
