AbideCR 2024: Featuring Aaron Williams, a worship leader, songwriter, author, and founder of The Way of Worship.

Now in its third year, AbideCR is an intentional, set-aside time for believers to enjoy God’s loving presence. We believe it is imperative that The Church pursues unity instead of competition, and we unite in our desire to see the gospel's impact in our community; to rest under the sound teaching of His Word, and to respond in quiet and in worship. 

AbideCR creates a space to practice this spiritual discipline together and to equip believers to continue to practice it in private. Unhurried worship. Encouragement from God’s Word. Fellowship with the family of God.

Musicians and Guest Speakers
The AbideCR Conference offers dedicated time to experience God here in Cedar Rapids. Aaron Williams returns from Dallas, Texas, in a dual role this year: worship leader and guest speaker. The AbideCR Worship Collective -- musicians and worship leaders from churches around the city -- are banding together again, bringing their local sound to the stage. A sampling of Cedar Rapids-area pastors and community leaders will share inspired messages to help people find rest in Jesus. Experiential breakout sessions offer ways to encounter the presence and peace of God in a "choose your own adventure" style.
 
The Abide Room
During the conference, we encourage you to seek the presence of God to process, pray, journal, meditate in His Word, or rest. The Abide Room is a place designed exactly for that, offering low lighting, soft music, and visual artists quietly creating work as the Holy Spirit leads. The Abide Room provides a safe, welcoming space in which you can seek His spirit in a way that feels comfortable to you.
