"The Queen's Gambit" Jubilee Chess Championship

Announcing Abingdon's first ever "The Queen's Gambit Jubilee Chess Championship" to be held 

on Saturday May 28th 

from 10 am to 5 pm 

in the Roysse Room, in the Guildhall at Abbey Close, Abingdon OX14 3JD. 

All ages welcome.

Limited to the first 32 contestants who apply. 

This event is  co-hosted by the Abingdon Passion Play and One Planet Abingdon Climate Emergency Centre, with the support of Abingdon Town Council. Entry is £10 in aid of the Abingdon Passion Play. 

Donations welcome for Refreshments (tea/coffee/juice and home-made cake), provided by OPACEC under the County Hall at Abingdon Market Place, OX14 3HG from 10am to 4 pm. There will be an hour's lunch break to meet up with family and friends.
