Gates of the Abode - A season of talks and workshops on death, departure and the unseen at Abney Park; this event is part of the Second Sight series.

Dreaming for Dreamers is a workshop exploring how dreams can become an active part of our creative process - in both art and life.
(Tickets include a glass of wine or juice.)

Blending information-sharing, practice and ritual, the session opens with the many ways dreams have been worked with across traditions: as oracle, as medicine, as another plane of existence for meaning making.

From there we move into the tools themselves - dream recall, dream incubation, dreamweaving and lucid dreaming - and how to work with dream imagery as a source of inspiration, self-awareness and creative problem-solving.

The evening closes with a guided visualisation, opening a threshold into the dreaming state before we carry it home with us into the night.

This event is aimed at all those interested in dreams as a tool for self-knowledge, magick and creative development. No previous experience or artistic background needed.

This event is part of Second Sight, a series of art and intuition-led creative workshops by White SOL Studio inspired by Abney's rich history of Victorian Spiritualism and mysticism. Among those buried here is Georgiana Eagle, who performed as "The Mysterious Lady" and was advertising her ‘Second Sight’ act in London years before the Spiritualist movement.
