Tottenham Outrage Virtual Tour With Alan Gartrell

This January marks the 112th year since the Tottenham Outrage. To commemorate this, the Abney Park Trust will be hosting a virtual walking tour of the park presented by Alan Gartrell followed by a Q&A session afterwards. 
The tour will look into the context of the Outrage and reveal Abney Park's links to the event.

The Tottenham Outrage was a two-hour police chase through North London that occurred after a bank robbery. We'll be holding this event 2 days before the anniversary of the event and a week before the anniversary of the funeral of the two fatal victims of the Outrage who are laid to rest in Abney Park, Police Constable William Tyler and young boy Ralph Joscelyne.

Alan Gartrell has given talks at Abney Park on a regular basis for many years. He is a Stoke Newington local who modestly declares that he is not a historian, but simply a few clicks ahead on Wikipedia of everyone else.
