Botanical drawing workshop with Katie Scott

Join illustrator Katie Scott and Abney Park Trust trustee Martina Girvan for a botanical drawing workshop.

Martina will point out some botanical features for inspiration, and Katie will lead a workshop on drawing skills – all in the beautiful surroundings of Abney Park.

Continuing the work of a long tradition of botanical artists, Katie’s work combines fine ink illustrations with digital colouring. Her preoccupation with the natural world has lead to the publication of three books on plant and fungal life, written and co-published by The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.
