North East TeachMeet (hosted in-person at Newcastle University)

This teaching and networking session brings together academic librarians from across the sector to share practice, discuss current challenges, and exchange ideas relating to library teaching and learning support. The event provides an opportunity to compare approaches, reflect on experiences, and explore effective methods for supporting student learning within higher education.

This event is aimed at staff in academic libraries working with students to deliver any form of teaching and engagement activities.

We acknowledge that it is likely to be predominantly attended by staff who work in our member libraries in the North East but it is open to all members, from anywhere in the region. If you think there would be demand for a TeachMeet hosted in one of our member libraries in the North West, please get in touch - even better if you feel like you could host it at your institution - academiclibrariesnorth@sconul.ac.uk.
