ATL ShortCOURSE: Transparency in Teaching and Learning

Multiple dates and times Moody Library 104 (Active Learning Lab), 76798

Join us for an interactive faculty development course on Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TiLT), designed for instructional faculty and staff. This course provides an in-depth look at the history, rationale, and evidence-based benefits of TiLT, with practical examples of its use. Participants will learn to define TiLT, create TiLTed rubrics and assignments, and compare traditional metrics to TiLTed ones. By the end of the course, attendees will be equipped to design and evaluate assignments using TiLT principles, enhancing clarity and student success in their classrooms. This is a valuable opportunity to refine your teaching tools and approaches.

Register here for one or both of the ShortCourse sessions (11/15 and 11/22). Both sessions are available in-person and online (Zoom link sent to registrants).

Attendees who complete both sessions will be recognized by the ATL in upcoming resources and receive a digital badge that can be added to your LinkedIn profile, posted prominently in your office, in your email signature, on your refrigerator, etc. :)

We will also notify Department Chairs and/or Deans of faculty who successfully complete all ShortCourse requirements!
