Bake Me Home

ARCH invites you to attend its newest fundraiser, Bake Me Home! Bake Me Home is a bake off and family fair offering DOZENS of adult and junior home bakers an opportunity to showcase their items in four categories: Cakes & Pies, Cookies & Bars, Breads & Muffins, and Junior Division. A first, second, and third place will be awarded in each category by a panel of judges, and a special "People's Choice" award will be chosen by YOU!

The inaugural event will take place on November 8, 2024 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the Vermilionville Performance Center at 300 Fisher Road in Lafayette. The family-friendly event tickets are $15 for adults, and $5 for children ages 12 and under. Purchased tickets will allow the guest to sample all of the baked goods and vote for their favorite. We also offer a free ticket to children 12 and under if they are not sampling and voting. In addition to the free samples of competing items, there will be baked items available for purchase, live music by Sean Trcalek, face painting, and family games. Additional food and beverages from Vermilionville's La Cuisine de Maman will be available for purchase. You don’t want to miss this event!

ARCH advocates for and supports services for families and students experiencing homelessness, including offering household goods, housing support services, and referrals to other vital resources, including shelter, food, and enrollment assistance. All proceeds benefit the Acadiana Regional Coalition on Homelessness & Housing.
