Fans of the late Chris Rea can now enjoy a rare opportunity to witness his music live, like never before, as Casey and his band ‘Rea-imagines’ the classic hits.

The new show will honour Rea’s legacy in a way that could only happen on the back of their decades-long relationship. Featuring hits such as Fool If You Think It’s Over, Auberge, The Road To Hell, On The Beach, Let’s Dance, Stainsby Girls and many more….

....In late 2024, Paul Casey suggested to Chris Rea that he wanted to put together an all-star band of musicians to play a night of Chris's music at the Derry Jazz Festival but only if he had Chris's blessing.

​​Paul was gifted Chris' own touring amps (cigarette burns included!) and the final Chris Rea stage set of 5 blue guitars.​​

A unique musical tribute played by those who were there

​The band includes Eoghan O’Neill, who played on most of Chris Rea’s big hits and toured with him in the 1980s, Liam Bradley (Van Morrison, Ronan Keating, The Blue Nile), John McCullough (Van Morrison, The Waterboys, Sinéad O’Connor), and newcomer Dan Millar on guitar.
