Morley

 New York City based artist, Morley, weaves the threads of jazz, soul, and global folk traditions into a singular tapestry of vocal and acoustic splendor — the sound wave of a life lived with uncommon devotion to human rights and environmental justice. 

Morley has collaborated with Lizz Wright, Meshell Ndegeocello, Joan As Police Woman, Toshi Reagon, Amadou et Mariam, Lokua Kanza, Richard Bona, Youn Sun Nah, William Parker, Brian Blade, James Genus, John Cowherd and many more.

Raised in vibrantly multicultural Jamaica, Queens, and educated at the United Nations School, Duke Ellington High School for the Performing Arts and Alvin Ailey, Morley uses the tools of vocal release and creative writing for trauma release when working with youth and adults from post and active conflict zones.

A recording artist under the auspices of Sony, Universal as well as independently, Morley has released 8 albums of original songs. Her music appears on network television, commercials, human rights documentaries and Democracy Now.
