Jazz vs Black Sabbath
Jazz Sabbath turned the metal and the jazz world upside down in early 2020 with the release of their long long-lost album from 1969 and a documentary, which showed that Black Sabbath stole all their songs from this jazz trio. After 50 years, pianist Milton Keanes was out
for justice.
On closer inspection, Keanes turned out to be Adam Wakeman (Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne's solo band) exploring the boundaries between jazz and the songs that defined heavy metal. Echoing already present jazz riffs and discovering new ones.
With rave reviews from both the rock and jazz media, sold out shows throughout Europe and 2 albums high in the Billboard Jazz charts, this jazz trio is a unique live experience.
