Kate is a 3x early-stage startup leader, having built talent acquisition teams from scratch at Canada's fastest-growing tech companies. She has strong expertise in scaling top engineering and ML/AI talent globally with some of the world's most innovative tech leaders. She has a BBA and Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University and is passionate about continuing to invest in the Canadian tech ecosystem.

Angela Larraguibel

Angela Larraguibel is the Senior Vice President of Founder Services at Communitech, leading a team of 20 contributors. The Founder Services team focuses on providing business support to 800+ founders from ideation through to late-stage scale.

Angela is an exceptional people leader with experience building, training, and mentoring teams. She has over 12 years of involvement within the entrepreneurial ecosystem in a variety of roles. She is a natural relationship builder who focuses on overcoming challenges using design thinking principles and team collaboration. Her experience spans working with academia, government agencies, startups, scaleups, not-for-profits and for-profit entities. Angela is currently focused on strategic and team management and product development and implementation.

Susy Martins

Susy is an accomplished international Business Executive and Executive Coach with extensive leadership experience spanning over 20 countries across North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. With a background as a Chief People Officer and Operations Executive, she excels in rapidly scaling and optimizing organizations, providing coaching at all leadership levels, and demonstrating hands-on leadership across various functional areas such as People, Finance, Audit, Operations, and Strategy. Susy has successfully led numerous transformation and automation initiatives, global team expansions, and developed top-rated onboarding programs and HR strategies for Tech Unicorns, Global Industrial Businesses, and Global Financial Services firms. Holding an MBA from the Ivey Business School and various coaching designations including from Harvard, she is also recognized as a Women of Influence. Fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, Susy is dedicated to championing diversity and fostering vibrant communities.

Radhika Vaidyanathan

Radhika Vaidyanathan is a partner in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office, practising corporate/commercial law. She advises both private and public companies on a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private debt and equity financings, and reorganizations. She regularly provides ongoing advice to entrepreneurs and startup companies regarding incorporation, shareholders agreements, restricted share arrangements, funding/financing, employee stock option and incentive plans, terms of use and various other legal issues affecting early-stage businesses.

Her corporate finance practice involves advising issuers and underwriters on prospectus offerings, private placements and stock exchange listings, and providing advice on corporate governance matters.

Radhika is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Waterloo Accelerator Centre. She is also a qualified lawyer in India, and has experience working with a top-tier law firm in India.

Tabatha is the VP of Marketing and External Relations at the Accelerator Centre and a member of the WCT-WR Board of Directors. A marketing strategist and communications leader with 15 years of experience working with non-profit and public sector agencies to help them tell their unique story, articulate bold visions, and develop organizational strategies that result in thriving organizations. Tabatha also leads the Accelerator Centre’s EDI initiatives and is passionate about supporting more women to thrive in STEM and entrepreneurial careers.
