Meet out Panelists
Terry Pender:
Started working as a journo in 1984 and never stopped. Local and national radio. Local and national newspapers. Won regional, provincial or national journalism awards in every newsroom where I worked. Currently, I write about startups, heritage conservation and urban affairs. I always have medium-term and long-term investigative projects underway. Extensive experience with the federal Access to Information Act, the Municipal Freedom of Information Act, land title searches, municipal finances, municipal corruption, real estate development, urban planning and heritage preservation.
Jordan Timm:
Jordan Timm is The Logic's managing editor. He joined The Logic from the National Post, where he spent nearly four years as executive producer, news. He previously served as city editor at the Ottawa Citizen and managing editor at Canadian Business. He is a member of the board of the Canadian chapter of the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (SABEW).
Carla Fitzsimmons
Carla Fitzsimmons has been working in the television industry for more than 32 years in a variety of roles including reporting to producing local community programming. For the past eleven years, she has called Rogers tv her home. In addition to Rogers tv, she works as a part-time professor at Conestoga College, where she teaches TV performance and series development.
Carla also serves as a director on Waterloo Regional Crime Stoppers Board and Deputy Administrator for the Waterloo Regional Police Chorus.
