Description
Primary Art Curriculum Support: Exploring The World Through Mono Print
Tuesday 13th February 2024, 4.00-5.00PM GMT.
To support the launch of the new AccessArt Primary Art Curriculum, this hour long session will take you through the Exploring The World Through Mono Print pathway.
These pathway support sessions aim to build teacher knowledge around how the AccessArt Primary Art Curriculum pathways are constructed, and how you can adapt the pathways to suit your school.
Building on the exploration of drawing in Autumn term 1, the 'Exploring The World Through Mono Print' pathway starts with two explorations of drawing – firstly drawing from photographs or film, and secondly drawing from small, closely observed objects. Children will explore the work of an artist who uses mono print in his own work, and are introduced to a simple mono print technique, enabling them to develop their own imagery.
Please come along if you are an art subject lead, a class teacher (the session will be useful whichever year group you teach in helping to build knowledge), or if you are interested in seeing how our curriculum is constructed.
This event is free and only open to AccessArt members.
This session will be recorded and available to AccessArt members after the event.
Please note, this event is free and open to AccessArt members only. A zoom link, accessible via logging into the AccessArt website, will be sent round a few days before the event. Please ensure you can log in well before the event so we can help you with any login issues. Please contact andrea@accessart.org.uk if you have any problems.
