Description
Celebrating AccessArt Pathways: Creating School Exhibitions & Displays.
Tuesday 14th May 2024, 4.00pm-5.00pm BST.
There is no better way to celebrate the creative journeys and outcomes of the AccessArt Primary Art Curriculum than by coordinating a whole school or classroom display. Join us to explore how we can think creatively about how to create exhibitions which best capture the ethos of AccessArt’s open-ended, journeyful approach.
- How can we create displays which celebrates the journey, including the use of sketchbooks, as well as the outcomes?
- How can we involve children in the creation of the displays?
- How might we encourage greater interaction with audiences by creating spaces and places to linger?
- How can we ensure all work is celebrated and that the displays celebrate individual and shared achievement?
We’ll be joined by teachers sharing their ideas, and we’ll have plenty of practical and inspirational suggestions from AccessArt, taking inspiration from the many ways artists share their work. This event is free and only open to AccessArt members.
This session will be recorded and available after the event to AccessArt members.
Please note, this event is free and open to AccessArt members only. A zoom link, accessible via logging into the AccessArt website, will be sent round a few days before the event. Please ensure you can log in well before the event so we can help you with any login issues. Please contact andrea@accessart.org.uk if you have any problems.
