Description
Primary Art Curriculum Support: Pathway for Years 1 & 2: Exploring Watercolour.
Wednesday 2nd October, 4.00pm-5.00pm BST.
Free for AccessArt Members.
Join us for our next pathway support session where will be sharing the 'Exploring Watercolour' pathway from the AccessArt Primary Art Curriculum.
These pathway support sessions aim to build teacher knowledge around how the AccessArt Primary Art Curriculum pathways are constructed, and how they can be adapted to suit your school.
In the Exploring Watercolour pathway children are introduced to watercolour. Through an open and exploratory approach, children not only discover what watercolour can do, how it acts and how they can “control” it, but also how the watercolour itself can help reveal the “story” of the painting.
Suitable for Art Leads, Classroom Teachers, SLT and other educators. Please note that even if you are not following this pathway, you may find the ideas and approaches relevant to other ages/pathways. The activities in this pathway can also be adapted to other ages and settings.
This session will be recorded and made available to AccessArt members a few days after the event.
Please note, this event is free and open to AccessArt members only. A zoom link, accessible via logging into the AccessArt website, will be included in your order confirmation. Please ensure you can log in well before the event so we can help you with any login issues. Please contact andrea@accessart.org.uk if you have any problems.
