Join us for a discussion with Adam Vincent, Ofsted’s subject lead for Art and Design and principal writer of Ofsted’s Art and Design Research Review and Subject Report. In this session, Adam will be sharing with us what has been learned from recent inspections in art and design, drawing on both the Research Review and Subject Report, and considering what contributes to a high-quality art curriculum.
This online event will begin with a presentation from Adam, followed by some discussion with the AccessArt team.

Speaker bio:
As a qualified teacher and former headteacher, Adam Vincent has taught in a range of London schools and held senior curriculum and leadership roles. Adam inspects widely and contributes to national training, policy and quality assurance. He has also worked with the DfE and other education bodies to support curriculum development.
Adam's work focuses on how high-quality art and design education meets the diverse needs of pupils and supports aspiration, achievement and creative thinking.
