The Department for Education’s Enrichment Framework recognises that every child should have access to a broad range of high-quality enrichment experiences, with Arts & Culture identified as one of the five key areas every school should provide. As a Subject Association for art, AccessArt is pleased that the government recognises the value of arts and culture within the framework, and we have invited a member of the Dfe team to share the intentions, expectations and opportunities of the framework with us.
AccessArt will also be sharing our newly launched AccessArt Enrichment Offer - a series of Enrichment Pathways designed to inspire and enable all schools to ensure they meet the eight DfE benchmarks. These include pathways that promote a love of learning, creative careers, finding your creative voice, valuing the exploratory journey, making links with cultural organisations and many more.
Whether you are a local authority primary or secondary school, or part of a large Multi-Academy Trust, the AccessArt Enrichment Offer will help you audit your current provision and feel better prepared and inspired to deliver a high-quality arts and culture enrichment offer.
This event is free to AccessArt Members and Non-Members. A recording will be made available to AccessArt Members a few days after the event.
