Primary Art Curriculum Support: Be an Architect

Thursday 9th November 4.00-5.00pm GMT.

To support the launch of the new AccessArt Primary Art Curriculum, this hour long session will take you through the Be an Architect pathway.

This pathway introduces children to the idea that architects design and make buildings. Pupils are given the opportunity to explore architecture around them as well build their own architectural model.

These support sessions aim to build knowledge around how the curriculum pathways are constructed and how you can scaffold projects. Please come along if you are an art subject lead, a class teacher (the session will be useful whichever year group you teach in helping to build knowledge), or if you are interested in seeing how our new curriculum is constructed. We'll guide you through the pathway and give you the opportunity to try a couple of exercises for yourself.
