Competence standards and disability: what next for universities following the Abrahart case?
Harriet is a Director of the National Association of Disability Practitioners and an advocate for inclusive education. She sits on the Office of the Independent Adjudicator’s Disability Experts Panel, the AdvanceHE Disabled Student Commitment Partnership Group, the Department for Education’s HE Autism Advisory Group, and founded the Association of Autism Practitioners in HE.
Pam’s research spans global citizenship education, psychological literacy, and assessment & feedback. During the Covid pandemic she examined how students’ transition to university would be affected by lockdowns and changes to university recruitment. She published a highly influential guide with QAA on the hidden curriculum.
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception.
