This exciting and educational trip will allow students to develop an understanding of Australia's history and parliament, whilst having fun exploring parts of Canberra. They will be forging new friendships and creating lasting memories for our students and teachers, during this 5-day, 4-night tour of our nation's capital city.

• Australian Institute of Sport
• A day of snow activities
• Canberra zoo

Further details (Flights, departures, arrivals etc) will be communicated to you on as the school year progresses. 


Conditions of Attendance:

Please read through each statement with your child. All terms and conditions must be agreed to before your child goes on the trip.

• I acknowledge that no mobile phones or devices will be allowed on camp and will ensure my student abides by this condition. I understand that if my student does not adhere to this, the device will be confiscated for the duration of the camp. The device will be returned to the parent on return from camp.

• In the event of any illness, accident or injury, during the trip, I authorise the obtaining on my behalf of such medical or ambulance assistance as my child might require and accept responsibility for the payment of any expenses thus incurred

• In the event of severe medical emergencies, I understand that I or another family member may need to travel to Canberra to be with my child at the parent/guardian's expense.

• I authorise the teacher or any employee of the college who is with my child, to give consent where it is impractical to communicate with me, and agree to my child receiving such medical treatment as may be deemed necessary.

• I give permission for the school to pass medical information to a third party (e.g. Doctor, a Hospital) to facilitate the medical treatment of my child.

• I have submitted accurate medical information to Australian Christian College - Moreton via this online form about my child and included details of limitations, he/she has for the activities concerned.

• I further authorise supervising teachers/staff to administer medications for minor ailments, e.g. paracetamol for mild pain.

• I acknowledge that certain medical conditions may preclude attendance.

• I agree and my child understands that for the duration of the trip, students must adhere to the Australian Christian College - Moreton's code of behaviour agreement. Any serious misconduct, including but not limited to, drinking alcoholic beverages, regardless of age, and/or possession of drugs will result in an immediate return home at the expense of the parent/guardian.

• I have read the conditions of attendance with my child and understand its contents and conditions, and accept the parental responsibilities contained therein.

• I declare that the information that I provided on the online form is complete and correct and that I will notify the College if any changes occur prior to departure.

By purchasing a ticket through this Online booking system you are agreeing to all these conditions and any changes or updates that are communicated to you in writing (via email).

Please complete this registration form for your child/ren attending the Year 7 trip to Canberra, July 20th to July 24th 2026.

The cost is $1500 for each student. This covers all airfares, bus transportation, accommodation, food and venue entrances fees. 

Payment can be made either:

            1.In one payment of $1500

                               Or

             2. One payment of $200, then monthly payments from February to June of $260 each.

NOTE: PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING. DUE TO OUR BOOKING COSTS, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OF ANY COSTS PAID, IF YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR MIND.

Canberra Trip Attendance Disclaimer: Attendance at the 2025 Sydney-Canberra Trip is subject to all school fees being up to date. Students with outstanding fees will not be eligible to attend. Please ensure any outstanding balances are settled before the deadline.
