DE Term 1, 2026 (P-12)- Connection Day - Cairns (@Go Bowling)

Feel like a day away from the screen? Want to spend time with your fellow DE students, their families and your teachers?

We are thrilled to invite you to the Cairns Connection Day at Go Bowling! Get ready for a day filled with fun & laughter.

• Date: 20 Feb 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Meeting Location: Go Bowling, 93 Pease Street, Manoora, QLD

Families will meet at the venue at 9:50am for an 10:00am start

**Activities Include:**

• 2 games of ten pin bowling
• ACC Parents and siblings are welcome to join in the fun but if participating will need to secure a ticket.
• 12:00pm Lunch & Connection Opportunity

What To Bring:

Please bring $$ to buy food and drinks. A café on site provides takeaway meals and snacks. Due to the venue's Council Food Licence, only food prepared and purchased on the premises may be consumed. Don't forget to pack socks.

We know connection is key! Stay for lunch at 12:00pm after the main activities have concluded to connect with fellow families and teachers.

Meet up with our wonderful teacher Mrs Ellen Crank. She is super excited to connect with all of you!

All Distance Education activities require supervisors (parent or guardian) to accompany the enrolled student and remain at the event throughout the day. if that supervisor is not the legal parent or guardian, you must provide a Letter of Permission for Supervision.It is the responsibility of the family to arrange transport to the activity. All activities are optional and students are welcome to join in.
