DE Term 1, 2026 (P-12)- Bundaberg Connection Day (@ Innes Park Reserve)

Feel like a day away from the screen? Want to spend time outside enjoying God's creation and your fellow DE students, their families and your teachers?

We are thrilled to invite you to the Bundaberg Connection Day at the picturesque Innes Park Reserve! Get ready for a day filled with fun & laughter.

• Date: 25 Feb 2026
• Time: 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Meeting Location: BBQs near the Car Park, Innes Park Reserve, Innes Park.

**Activities Include:**

• BBQ Sausage Sizzle
• Beach Volleyball/Cricket Game
• Other Outdoor Lawn Games (Feel free to bring your favourites like bocce, corn-hole, etc.)

What To Bring:

The school will provide a sausage sizzle with sauces and a juice popper for each registered student or family member. Please bring your own additional snacks and drinks (BYO).

Don't forget to pack your usual beach stuff – sun-safe clothing, sunscreen, and appropriate wear. 

 IMPORTANT : 

• There are no planned water activities within the program. Supervisors are responsible for their students at all times during this activity. 

Meet up with our wonderful teachers, Mr Martin North, Mrs Louise Bocxe and Mr Vaughan Wright.  They are super excited to connect with all of you!

Registration closes 9 February, 2026 so we can confirm numbers with the and organise food.

All Distance Education activities require supervisors (parent or guardian) to accompany the enrolled student and remain at the event throughout the day. if that supervisor is not the legal parent or guardian, you must provide a Letter of Permission for Supervision.It is the responsibility of the family to arrange transport to the activity. All activities are optional and students are welcome to join in.
