Accountable Athletics Summer Training!

This program is designed to offer opportunities and development for the complete hockey player.  Each session will offer training for all the foundational skills based on the age, development level and position of the athlete.  All programs will be offered at the Fairview Sports Center in Woodbury, MN.  Further details below....

Groups Offered:

• Mites/U8 (20 on-ice hours)
• Advanced Mites (30 on-ice hours)
• Squirts (30 on-ice hours)
• PW's (30 on-ice hours)
• U10 & U12 Girls (30 on-ice hours)
• Goalies (20 on-ice hours)

Dates & Times:

June 14th - August 26th (week of July 5-8th is OFF)

• Mites/U8 - 8:30 - 9:30am Mondays & Wednesdays
• Advanced Mites: 9:40 - 11:10am Tuesdays & Thursdays
• Squirts: 9:40 - 11:10am Mondays & Wednesdays
• PW's: 1:40 - 3:10pm Tuesdays & Thursdays
• U10 & U12's: 1:40 - 3:10pm Mondays & Wednesdays
• Goalies: 8:30 - 9:30am Tuesdays & Thursdays

Training Details:

Skills, Principles and Concepts are designed developmentally and age appropriately to challenge and enhance the experience for all athletes.  All sessions will offer countless reps, offer self-correction, establish player identity and competitive games.

Example Player Session:

• Skating - Edges, Agility, Balance, Speed, Explosiveness, Transitions
• Passing & Stick Handling - Control, Possession, Touch, Passing, Receiving, Timing
• Shooting - Feel, Release, Power, Technique, Angle Change, One-touch, One-timers, Accuracy
• Hockey IQ - Decision Making, Tracking, Scanning, Positional Play, Learn the "WHY," Player Identity, Awareness
• Body Contact - Anticipation, Protection, Defensive Play, Embrace Physicality, Checking, Angling
• Competitive Games -  1v1, 2v2, 3v3, Battle, Compete, Grit
• Advanced Mite - introduce concepts that are translatable to 5v5 hockey

Example Goalie Session:

• Skating: Balance, Footwork, Up Movement, Down Movement, Recoveries
• Save Selection: First Saves, Fundamentals, Techniques, Tracking, Dynamic Saves
• Positioning: Angles, Depth, Awareness, Aggressive Intelligence
• Game Awareness: Reads, Anticipation, Attacks, Screens, Tips
• Puck Handling: Stopping Puck, Setting Puck, Passing, Chips, Bumps, Reads

Cost:

Option to Pay in Full or make a Deposit for a Three Payment Installation Plan (Deposit, March 1st, May 1st)
