In an increasingly interconnected world, where technological advancements accelerate the pace of change, trust in traditional institutions and relationships is being tested. Over the past decade, we have witnessed both emerging and persistent threats—from competitive state disinformation campaigns to violent non-state actors and proxy forces endangering our communities, to volatile environmental conditions and pressures on vulnerable populations. ​

​These challenges do not exist in isolation; they impact local, regional, and global communities alike, demanding a collective will and a proactive response. By partnering together and embracing a shared commitment to joint warfighting, a strong warrior ethos, and the vital role of the defense industrial base, states can build trust, forge collaborative solutions, and leverage their alliances to create a safer, stronger, and more prosperous future. How can we strengthen these partnerships to navigate shared challenges and seize the opportunities ahead?
