Career Conversations: Advancing Emerging Leaders
Featuring Joshua Baldobinos, Chief Operating Officer, Advocate South Suburban Hospital
October 27th| 11 AM ET | Virtual | 30 minutes
How do you go from your first leadership role to the C-suite? What actually moves a career forward, and what do you wish someone had told you sooner?
Join us for the first session of the Career Conversations Series, a new virtual program from ACHE of Indiana built for students and emerging healthcare leaders with 0–10 years of leadership experience.
In this conversation, ACHE of Indiana member and volunteer Charles Gordon, EVS Manager at Advocate Heath sits down with Joshua Baldobinos, Chief Operating Officer of Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Illinois. Joshua was promoted to COO after serving as the hospital’s Vice President of Operations. Before that, he was Assistant CEO at NW Health – Porter in Valparaiso, Indiana, so he knows Indiana healthcare well.
Charles and Joshua will talk about:
- How Joshua moved through operations roles into executive leadership
- The decisions and relationships that made the biggest difference in his career
- Practical steps you can take now to prepare for your next role
- Lessons he learned the hard way that you don’t have to
The session is short, focused and interactive. Bring your questions. You’ll leave with real takeaways you can use, not just a good story.
