Strings Camp Masterclass

Come and experience the musical process each day at 2:00 PM on August 3-6! ACMF camp participants will perform prepared solo works for some of our world-class coaches.

A masterclass is a one-on-one lesson and performance, open to the public. They are designed for “masters” to impart some of their knowledge and wisdom to a younger musician in a way that inspires them to reach another level or a fuller potential, and to gain a deeper understanding of an aspect of music they might be working on. They are different from normal lessons and because the person giving the masterclass is not their usual teacher the advice tends to be more universal and can also help other young artists who are observing the class. This is a great opportunity for young musicians who are interested in learning by observing, as well as amateur musicians and music lovers who want an inside look into the learning process.

Free and open to the public; tickets are limited. Donations will support future ACMF educational programming.
