Have you ever visited the shop and wanted to stay longer? Did you attend the first ever NNH Yarn Retreat last month and you need another one? Then come and join us for the next Nibbles, Needles and Hooks Yarn Retreat, between Friday 4th and Sunday 6th October.
Arrive Friday 4th October from 3pm where you’ll be greeted by Liz bearing a goody bag full of treats. We’ll settle in the bar for the evening, with a 3 course dinner (chosen from the menu) provided. When it’s time for bed everyone has their own room, with no single person supplement. There is lift access available to the 1st floor if that’s where your room is situated.
After a cooked breakfast on Saturday morning we have the day to craft together. We have a private room, with access to a patio area if the weather is kind. If you fancy a break (or your fingers need a rest) you can stroll around the gardens, or go slightly further along the Trans-Pennine Trail which passes the hotel. There’ll be tea and coffee on hand, with a proper stop for a 2 course lunch (again, from the menu). We’ll break again for another 3 course dinner, and can then relax in the bar, or stay in the room yarning.
Throughout the day there will be a pop-up yarn shop from a local hand-dyer. This time we're joined by Hayley from Ducky Darlings.
Sunday starts with another cooked breakfast, then more crafting before Afternoon Tea is served around noon.
From there we’ll say our goodbyes, but don’t forget, Nibbles, Needles and Hooks is only a 20 minute drive away, and we’re open until 4.30pm on Sundays.
£580 payable in 3 installments.

Booking Terms and Conditions. Please read before booking.
Please read this section carefully; by making a booking you agree to these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility as the booker to make any other guests in your party aware of them.
Pricing
The total price for your retreat includes accommodation, all meals and tea/coffee during the day, along with a complimentary goody bag. Any purchases from the bar are not included.
Booking
The lead booker is responsible for making all payments to us. Following the initial deposit all details and payment instalment information will be sent to the lead booker.
Please use the online booking system linked on our website to make your reservation and pay your deposit, during which you will need to complete guest information forms for each member of your party. Your booking will be confirmed by email. Only those persons identified on the guest information form may attend the retreat, and any changes to any members of the party must be advised in writing.
You must be over 18 years of age at the time of booking, and have the authority and responsibility to accept all the conditions on behalf of all members of your party. We reserve the right to refuse a booking and be under no other liability.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit must be paid at the time of booking.
Two instalment payments for the remaining balance will be required as per the schedule supplied at time of booking.
Once you have paid your deposit or payment in full you enter a contract with us which is covered under UK law.
Insurance
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU TAKE OUT YOUR OWN TRAVEL INSURANCE
Cancellation
If you need to cancel your booking after paying the full balance, i.e. up to 2 weeks before the start date, you will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the total price. As stated above, the deposit is non-refundable.
Any bookings cancelled less than 2 weeks before the start date will not be refunded.
If the retreat is cancelled by Acoustic Events/Nibbles, Needles and Hooks, you will be entitled to a full refund of any monies paid to Acoustic Events/Nibbles, Needles and Hooks but we have no further liability or obligation and therefore are not responsible for any other costs you have incurred e.g. travel expenses.
Force Majeure
Acoustic Events/Nibbles, Needles and Hooks cannot accept responsibility or liability for any alterations, delay or cancellation of the event or any other loss or damage caused by war, threat of war, civil strife, terrorist or threatened terrorist action, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, severe weather, epidemics, pandemics, death of UK monarch and/or their spouse, or any other similar event outside our control.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival time on Day 1 (Friday) is from 3pm. Guests are required to check out by 11am on Day 3 (Sunday) – once checked out you still have access to the private room and bar area etc ahead of the Afternoon Tea event.
Damages and breakages
You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages caused while you occupy your room including any accidents that may occur. This applies to the whole property throughout your stay.
Car Parking and Personal Property
Cars are left at your own risk, Acoustic Events/NNH and The Sitwell Arms Hotel accept no liability to cars and contents of vehicles left within their grounds.
You are responsible for the security of your own possessions whilst on the retreat, Acoustic Events/Nibbles, Needles and Hooks cannot accept any liability for any losses or damages that may occur.
Dietary and Special Requirements
Any dietary requirements or special requests for members of your party must be noted at the time of booking. If you, or any member of your party has any medical condition or disability that may affect your retreat please tell us before you confirm your booking so that we can advise as to the suitability of this retreat.
We will endeavour to fulfil any special requests but cannot guarantee that they will be met; failure on our part to meet any special request will not constitute a breach of contract.
Trading
The only selling permitted at the event is by our contracted pop-up dyer, or by Nibbles, Needles and Hooks.
