Presented by Alexandra Loose and Nicholas Hill, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

In this webinar, Ally and Nick will discuss some data they have collected on vestibular presentations in A&E and how they have developed a business case for a physiotherapist embedded in acute services. They will discuss the rationale for the service, the components of the proposed service and what other service support would be involved.

Ally works at Guys' and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust on the acute assessment wards and has previously worked in the vestibular physiotherapy department at Guy's Hospital.

Nick is currently working as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in the Vestibular Physiotherapy department and MDT Balance Clinic at Guy’s Hospital, where he has been based since 2018. He has been treating patients with vestibular conditions since 2012, and previously completed an MRes in Clinical Research in 2017 based on a novel vestibular stimulation intervention for Pusher Syndrome/Lateropulsion in acute Stroke management.
