Multisensory Approach to Balance
Balance is something most of us take for granted, yet it relies on the complex integration of multiple systems working together seamlessly. Information from the eyes, inner ears (vestibular system), proprioceptive system, and brain must be continuously processed and coordinated to maintain stability and movement.
This course explores the key components of the balance system, examining their anatomy, function, assessment, and interaction. Through a practical and evidence-based approach, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how balance is maintained and why dysfunction can occur.
By taking a holistic view of balance, this course aims to provide clinicians with the knowledge and tools to assess and rehabilitate balance problems more effectively, helping them develop a broader and more rounded approach to patient care.
