Join us for Tales From the Cellar, a one-night-only Spooky Season event where acclaimed local storytellers Lou Ann Homan and Steve Etheridge spin eerie, enchanting tales that will send a delightful shiver down your spine. As twilight settles over the vineyard, sip on your favorite glass of wine, savor complimentary fall treats, and immerse yourself in a cozy, yet spook atmosphere!

About the Storytellers
Lou Ann Homan – With her mesmerizing voice and commanding stage presence, Lou Ann has captivated audiences across Indiana and beyond. A two-time Lilly Teacher Creativity Grant recipient and multiple fellowship award winner, she has been commissioned five times for the celebrated If These Walls Could Tell series. In addition to her performances at the IndyFringe Festival, Lou Ann teaches at Trine University, directs theatre, and writes an award-winning column. Whether she’s sharing tales of history, folklore, or Mary Shelley herself, Lou Ann brings stories to life with passion and imagination.

Steve Etheridge – A versatile storyteller from Indiana, Steve has performed at the Fibs Storytelling Festival, the Hoosier Storytelling Festival, Stories Inc., and Scary Tales at Tri-State, among many others across the state. Known for saying “Storytelling is a sharing thing,” Steve connects with both children and adults through a wide repertoire—original tales, family stories, fairy and folk tales, contemporary works, and spine-tingling scary stories. His warmth and creativity make every performance an invitation to lean in, listen, and get lost in the magic of story.

Weather & Atmosphere:
Weather permitting, the event will take place outdoors under the autumn sky, surrounded by glowing lights and vineyard charm. Guests are encouraged to bundle up with jackets and bring blankets for a cozy evening. If rain should fall, the storytelling will move into our intimate Barrel Room, where the atmosphere is just as warm and inviting.
