This walk will explore the rich history, stories and local heritage connected to Buncrana, O’Doherty’s Keep, Castle Bridge and the surrounding coastline. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the scenery while learning more about the people, places and stories that have shaped this area over time.

The walk will move at a relaxed pace and is suitable for anyone with an interest in local history, folklore, storytelling, walking or simply experiencing Buncrana’s shoreline in a new way.

Suitable for beginners and those looking for an enjoyable social walk with a strong local heritage theme.

Hike leader will arrive approximately 15 minutes before departure time.
