Step back through the history, mythology and folklore of Inishowen on a guided walk through the Inch and Burt landscape beneath the ancient hillfort of Grianán of Aileach.

Join accredited Lowland Leader Alan McLaughlin for a guided history and folklore walk exploring the rich heritage of the Inch and Burt area.

This immersive walk will weave together local history, mythology, landscape and storytelling while taking in views of the beautiful Wildfowl Reserve. Along the route, participants will hear stories connected to the ancient site of Grianán of Aileach, early settlements, local traditions and the cultural history that has shaped this landscape for generations.

Suitable for anyone with an interest in local heritage, storytelling, photography, history or simply experiencing the landscape in a new way.

Hike leader will arrive approximately 15 minutes before departure time.
