Please note: Booking is free through Active Inishowen, but all participants must bring €10 cash on the day.
This €10 contribution is paid directly to Inishowen Bike Hire towards the eBike rental. Active Inishowen subsidises the remaining bike hire cost and provides the guided cycle, qualified cycle leaders, route support, and local history / folklore interpretation.

Places are limited. If you book a place, we kindly ask that you commit to attending or let us know in advance if you can no longer make it. This allows others the opportunity to take part.

eBikes for this event are provided by Inishowen Bike Hire, helping make this experience accessible to a wide range of participants.

Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure, at 10:00am, for registration, safety briefing, bike allocation, and helmet fitting.
Cycle departs at 10:30am sharp

The event will run from approximately 10:30am to 1:00pm.


Join us for a guided eBike cycle from [START LOCATION] to [DESTINATION / ROUTE], taking in [INSERT KEY ROUTE FEATURES / LANDSCAPE / HERITAGE POINTS].

This route is suitable for participants with [INSERT SUITABILITY — e.g. a basic level of cycling experience / confidence cycling on quiet roads / confidence managing some climbs].

The eBikes will help make the route more accessible, particularly on rural roads, rolling terrain, or hillier sections. Participants should still be comfortable cycling in a small group and following instructions from the cycle leaders.

Led by qualified cycle leaders, this small-group ride will be taken at a steady pace, with safety and enjoyment the priority throughout.

Along the way, the cycle will also include local history, heritage, folklore, and landscape interpretation connected to the area.
