Please join us to celebrate the publication of Making Active Learning Happen for All: Practical Ideas for Developing and Sustaining Active Learning at an online event on Wednesday 15th April 10.00 – 11.30 (BST)

This launch will provide an overview of the book and a brief introduction to a systems thinking led approach to nurturing and sustaining active learning for all that frames this guidebook. A panel comprising some of the contributing authors will then share their response to a question or theme that the book and its authors from the Active Learning Network are seeking to address. With the aid of a collaboration tool, audience members will be actively encouraged to pose their questions/comments to the panel throughout, for what is hoped will be a generative Q&A session.

Edited by Sarah Wilson-Medhurst and Janet Horrocks this book offers a fresh systems thinking framed approach to embedding and sustaining active learning to create learning experiences that are engaging, equitable and future-focused. Bringing together educators and practitioners from around the world, this guidebook demonstrates how active learning can be embedded meaningfully, sustainably, and inclusively across entire institutions. Through practical tools, case studies, and research-led insights, it offers a roadmap for enabling every learner to engage, and every educator to succeed at active learning. Please join us to find out more!
