Description
ActivEnviro is co-locating the 2024 Global Outdoor Health Summit and the ActivEnviro Think Tank, courtesy of our Local Host Sponsors, San Antonio Park and Recreation Department. On this page, you can register for either the GOH Summit or the Think Tank, or choose a bundled registration option that offers a discount for both events. You can find more information about each event at www.activenviro.org under the Convenings and Education tab.
The Global Outdoor Health (GOH) Summit is the next evolution of the former SHIFT Summit - a gathering of great minds who care about improving the intersection of nature and preventive health for humans and lands. Attendees include diverse researchers, policy managers, health providers, planners, governmental, outdoor recreation, business, non-profit, military, foundations and philanthropic funders, educators, retailers, conservationists, and/or nature-intervention professionals and organizations from around the world. See https://www.activenviro.org/gohsummit for more information.
Your GOH Summit registration includes multiple opportunities to get outside and explore your local surroundings. To help us with our planning for these Experiences, you will be asked to sign up for the activities you would like to participate in. If you choose a GOH Summit Only ticket or a Bundled Ticket option, please be sure you reserve your spot when completing your registration form. Note that space for some activities is limited, and registration for the GOH Summit is required to participate in these Experiences.
The ActivEnviro Think Tank provides an opportunity to engage with Thought Leaders in the fields of Parks, Recreation, Conservation, Land and Leisure Management, Public Health, Tourism, Alternative Transportation, Academia, Allied Disciplines and the related associations and educators that support and serve them. The purpose of the Think Tank is to improve multi-sector communication and information sharing. Our mission is to fill the gaps in research, education and development for health, recreation, land management, and allied professionals. We help the professionals who help communities thrive. See https://www.activenviro.org/thinktank for more information.
You can register for each event individually or choose a bundled package at a discounted rate. For organizations with three or more attendees, please reach out to Amanda Walker at amandaw@activenviro.org for information on group rates.
