We are excited to announce that Acton Scott Heritage Farm reopened as a charity from Friday 18 April 2025. Come and say hello to old friends and new!
Meet our new lamb arrivals
There is plenty to discover and explore from our traditional gardens, wonderfully tended to by our dedicated volunteers, to our vibrant collection of heritage farming machinery.
Our working farm also has Shropshire sheep, Dairy Shorthorn cattle, Dorking chickens and Dulcie, the Gloucester Old Spot pig! Meet our new Farm Manager and learn about daily life on the farm, our livestock and traditional farming methods.
Acton Scott Farm Cafe will also be open from 10:30-16:00, offering a selection of drinks, snacks and locally made food.
Join an interactive tour of your favourite Heritage Farm
To celebrate our good news, we will be running a series of Guided Tours lead by our amazing volunteers and brand new team.
Guided Tours are free to join and are intended to enhance your experience of Acton Scott Heritage Farm - or you can simply enjoy walking around at your own pace!
- 11:00 Tour: Aimed at Families and those with younger children (approx 1 hour)
- 13:00 Tour: Aimed at Adults and older children (approx 1.5 hours)
Each tour will last approximately an hour, where we will step back in time and be lead on a journey through the Farm. The experience will include a mixture of storytelling, local history and lively demonstrations of traditional rural trades, crafts and farming activities.
