Cheshire Live Steamers (Saturday and Sunday)

We are delighted to welcome the Cheshire Live Steamers to Acton Scott Heritage Farm for a full weekend of live steam action and family entertainment.

Their miniature steam engines will be running throughout the weekend, offering children’s rides around the farm grounds — a wonderful experience for younger visitors and steam enthusiasts alike.

Midlands Oil Engine Club (Sunday only)

On Sunday 21 June, we're delighted to welcome the Midlands Oil Engine Club to the Farm, bringing along 10 beautifully restored oil engines and three vintage tractors. Don't miss this unique opportunity to see these fascinating machines up close and learn more about the agricultural engines that helped shape rural life.

Meet the Shire Horses

Alongside the steam engines, visitors can also enjoy seeing our magnificent Shire horses — a much-loved part of life on the Farm and an iconic symbol of Britain’s rural and agricultural heritage.

Throughout the weekend, discover the important role heavy horses played in Victorian farming and countryside life before the age of tractors and mechanisation.
