Mothers All - Live Theatre Production
Multiple dates and times

Description
It’s 2180. Human reproduction is now under state control in an effort to manage the population and conserve dwindling resources in a global movement known as Mothers All. Hailed as “the great democratizer,” Mothers All leads to plummeting maternal deaths, teenage pregnancies, and abortion numbers. Yet with this scientific advancement comes unforeseen consequences.
Following in the speculative fiction footsteps of Octavia Butler and Ursula K. Le Guin, Mothers All asks complicated questions about the nature of motherhood, gender, bodily autonomy, and the ethics surrounding artificial reproductive technology.
This new work is written by Katie Tandy directed by Lauren Rosenfield, and produced by Actors Ensemble of Berkeley.
