After losing her husband Greg to brain cancer, Carrie Bickmore used her Gold Logie moment to shine a light on a disease that receives little funding and even less attention. From that moment, Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer was born.

The foundation exists to fund vital research, with one goal: to help find a cure so no one else has to lose someone they love to brain cancer.

Through the generosity of everyday Australians, we support brilliant researchers at The Brain Cancer Centre - because survival rates haven’t improved in decades, and that has to change.
