Sat 19 Oct 2024 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
The Stoller Hall, M3 1DA
Description
Join us at this Estill Voice Training Introductory Workshop led by Estill Master Trainers Ashleigh Dowler and Maple Yu. See how the voice works, tune your ears to a new world of vocal colours and get a taster feel of the model.
We will explore the 13 figures for voice and also the 6 voice qualities: Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera and Belt.
This workshop is beneficial for any voice user, whether you are a singer, actor, choral directors, speech and language therapists or public speakers, this is for you! Together we will explore the Estill model and give you an overview of how the voice works by looking at the anatomy and physiology of the vocal mechanism. There will also be an Open Session where you can sign-up to receive direct coaching on a section of a song or spoken piece from trained and accredited Estill Master Trainers. We will also make time for questions throughout the day and have a dedicated Q&A session.
