Program Description:

Estacada Lake is a dammed portion of the Clackamas River that is accessible from Milo McIver State Park. This relaxing paddle travels along a forest-lined river that extends into a canyon with an occasional waterfall pouring from the side. This trip is great for beginners or those looking for a tranquil day on flat water.

Transportation:

Participants can meet our team on-site at Milo McIver State Park at the Estacada Lake Boat Ramp or opt in to use AWL's transportation. Transportation is $10/person. If you would like to use AWL's transportation and meet us a centralized pick-up location (Hillsboro Community Senior Center), please select a "Transportation Included" ticket when registering.

Itinerary:

8:30 AM - Pickup @ Hillsboro Community Senior Center 

10:00 AM- Arrive at Estacada Lake Boat Ramp, introductions, bathrooms and instruction

10:30-1:30 PM- Time to paddleboard!

1:30 PM- Return to shore/closing circle

2:00 PM- Depart Estacada Lake Boat Ramp

3:30 PM- Arrive back @ Hillsboro Community Senior Center

*To ensure adequate paddling time, we recommend coming dressed in the clothes to paddle in

Participants will receive a registration email after they've completed the registration process. Liability Waivers and Gear Request Forms will be linked in the confirmation email. Participants MUST sign the electronic waiver and complete a gear request at least 7 days prior to the trip. If the participant signs the waiver or completes a gear request after this time frame, then we may not be able to accommodate any specific needs on the trip. If the participant fails the sign the waiver, they will not be permitted to join the trip.
