Sammy's Place Campout!

Program: Sammy's Place Campout with Adventures Without Limits
Trip Date: August, 21st - 23rd, 2026
Cost: $5 registration fee to reserve your spot (non-refundable)

Sammy's Place, in partnership with Adventures Without Limits, invites our community to join for a weekend of camping, sharing meals around the campfire, playing games, and making memories together at the Oregon Coast.

This event will host up to 15 families for a weekend camping trip at Barview Jetty Campground August 21st-23rd, 2026. Camping is first come first served.  For families who are not interested in camping, there is also the option to register to join for the day on Saturday.

What to expect:

• A fun weekend outdoors, including beach walks, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and meals around the campfire! 
• Camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad) will be provided by Adventures Without Limits upon request, and a limited number of cabins will be available for families who require access to power as an accommodation.

New this year:

• All meals are included: Friday Dinner, Saturday Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and Sunday Breakfast and to-go lunch. Please indicate any dietary restrictions in your registration.

Transportation:

• Transportation is not provided, campers must be able to meet onsite at Barview Jetty Campground. Please contact jaimier@oregoncoaast.org if you need resources for transportation. One parking pass will be provided for each camper. Additional vehicles for campers and/or day passes must be purchased directly at the park.

Important Information:

• Minors must be in attendance with a supervising adult.
• Check-in on Friday, August 21st begins at 5:00 PM. Check-out on Sunday, August 23rd by 12:00 PM (noon).
• Camp meals will be provided Friday dinner - Sunday lunch, please indicate any dietary restrictions for your group at the time of registration. Campers are encouraged to bring snacks to supplement group meals throughout the weekend to ensure dietary preferences are met.
• Service animals and dogs allowed, and park rules apply. Owner must pay overnight pet fee to the park directly.
• AWL staff are not able to assist with personal care needs, including but not limited to administering medication, bathing, toileting, or hygiene. Participants who require assistance with these activities are encouraged to attend with someone who can support their individual access needs.

To register:

1. Click the red REGISTER HERE button to complete your registration. Participants can complete a single ticket registration per camp site. (ex. family or friends sharing a tent or tent space may complete a single ticket registration) or family unit participating in the Saturday program only.

2. Look for a confirmation email ensuring that your registration is complete!

Participants will receive a registration email after they've completed the registration process. Liability Waivers and Gear Request Forms will be linked in the confirmation email. Participants MUST sign the electronic waiver and complete a gear request at least 7 days before the trip. If the participant signs the waiver or completes a gear request after this time frame, then we may not be able to accommodate any specific needs on the trip. If the participant fails to sign the waiver, they will not be permitted to join the trip.
